Secure Password Vault is an offline-first Windows desktop application for storing passwords, secure notes, private lists, personal records, bank details, and other sensitive information inside a local encrypted vault.

No. Secure Password Vault is designed for local storage. Your saved passwords, notes, private records, and vault backups remain on your own Windows computer.

The application is offline-first. Paid editions use internet access only for license activation and verification. Your vault contents are not uploaded during license activation.

Demo is intended for evaluation before purchase. Standard includes the everyday local password and private-record features. Pro includes everything in Standard plus advanced tools such as 2FA backup codes, browser CSV import, multi-user support, encrypted backups, emergency export, and device transfer or merge tools.

No. Standard and Pro are sold as one-time purchases. Standard costs €9.99 and Pro costs €19.99.

No. PracticalForge Software cannot recover, reset, bypass, or decrypt a lost master password. Keep your master password safe and maintain your own secure backups.

Secure Password Vault is designed as a Windows desktop application. Exact compatibility information should be checked on the product and download pages before installation.

The application is available in English, Greek, German, French, Italian, and Spanish.

Browser CSV import is a Pro feature. Pro supports password files exported from supported browsers such as Chrome, Edge, and Opera.

Yes. Standard includes local backup and restore support. Pro also includes advanced encrypted backup tools and additional transfer-related features.

Secure Password Vault is independent Windows software. Windows SmartScreen may display an Unknown Publisher warning when an application does not use a commercial code-signing certificate. This warning does not automatically mean that the installer is unsafe.

A separate mobile application is currently under development and has not yet been released. Pro includes QR, pairing, transfer, and merge-related tools prepared for future mobile workflows.
